Answer:

We require radius and height of right circular cone to find its volume by the the use formula for finding volume of a right circular cone.

so firstly radius of the cone can be calculated as:-)

Given that area of base is 78.5 cm.

So,

 \pi  {r}^{2}  = 78.5 \\ \implies \boxed{ {r}^{2}  =   \frac{78.5}{ \pi} }

Also given that height of The right circular cone is 12 cm

So,

Volume =   \frac{1}{3} \pi {r}^{2} h \\  =  \frac{1}{3}  \times  \pi \times  \frac{78.5}{ \pi}  \times 12 \\  = 78.5 \times 4 \\  = 314{cm}^{3}

We are given that area of base of cone which is circular in shape is 78.5 cm².

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

We know that area of circle :-

\huge{\boxed{\boxed{\sf{Area \: = \: \pi r^{2}}}}}

____________[Put Values]

πr² = 78.5

\LARGE{\sf{r^2 \: = \: {\frac{78.5}{\pi}}}}

---------------------------------------------------------------------

A.T.Q,

Volume of cone =

\huge{\boxed{\boxed{\sf{Volume \: = \: {\frac{1}{3}}\pi r^2 h}}}}

_________________[Put Values]

Volume = π × 78.5 × 12/π × 3

Volume = 78.5 × 4

\huge{\sf{Volume \: = \: 314 \: cm^2}}
