Given:-

  • Area of the base of right circular cylinder = 168 cm²
  • Height of the cylinder = 21 cm

To Find:-

  • Volume of the cylinder

Solution:-

We are given with the area of the base of cylinder as 168 cm². We know the base of the cylinder is in the shape of circle. The area of circle is as follows:-

Area of sphere = πr² sq.units

=> πr² = 168

Also we know,

Volume of Cylinder = πr²h cu.units

Putting the value of πr² from the area of base we can find the volume of the cylinder.

Hence,

Volume of cylinder = 168 × 21

=> Volume = 3528 cm³

Therefore the volume of the cylinder is 3528 cm³
