Answer:

given CSA = 352 sq cm, h = 8 cm

to find volume

V = π r² h

CSA = 2πrh = 352

2*22/7*8*r = 352

r = (352 × 7)/(2×22×8)

r = 7 cm

now V = π × 7×7×8

=> 22/7×7×7×8

> 1232 cu cm

\huge\underline\mathfrak\green{Given:}

Curved surface area = 352 sq cm.

Height = 8cm

Volume of the cylinder =?

\underline\mathtt\pink{Curved ~surface ~area ~of ~a~cylinder (CSA)=2\pi \: r \: h}

By conditions ,

352 = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times r \times 8

\implies 352=  \frac{44}{7}  \times r \times 8

\implies 8 =  \frac{1}{7}  \times r \times 8

\implies 8r=56

\implies r = \cancel \frac{56}{8}

 \implies r = 7 cm

\rule{300}{2}

Now, the volume of the cylinder is

=\pi  {r}^{2} h cm³

 =\frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 7 \times 8 cm³

= 22 \times 7 \times 8cm³

=22 \times 56cm³

=1232 cm³

Therefore, the volume of the cylinder is 1232cm³.
