Heya friend,

Given that

C.S.A = 4,400 cm^2

Circumference of base = 110 cm

Solution

Circumference of base = 2πr

=> 110 = 2 × 22/7 × r

=> 110 = 44/7 × r

=> r = 110×7/44

=> r = 17.50 cm

C.S.A of a cylinder = 2πrh

=> 4,400 = 2 × 22/7 × 17.50 × h

=> 4,400 = 44/7 × 17.50 × h

=> 4,400 = 110 h

=> h = 4,400/110

=> h = 40 cm

Thanks

With regards@

Tanisha

Sahil1231: sorry! But you have to find only height.
Sahil1231: The answer is 40cm. Not 250cm.
Sahil1231: Can you please edit the question.
Anonymous: sry but now l had corrected

Circumference of base =
2πr
=110
or, 22/7*2*r=110
or, 22/7*r=55
or, 22*r=385
or, r=17.5 cm

CSA of cylinder=2πrh
=4400

or, 2*22/7*17.5*h=4400
or, 22/7*17.5*h=2200
or, 55*h=2200
or, h= 40 cm

Therefore height=40 cm
