The area of the floor of a rectangle hall of length 40m is 960m2 . carplets of size 6m×4m are available . Find how many carpets are required to covers the hall.

Breadth of the rectangle = 960÷40=24m
Carpets required the cover the hall=(40m×24m)÷(6×4)m=40
Answer=40 carpets
