It is given that the area of the floor of the room is 67.5 m² and its volume is 270 m³.

Let the length of the floor be l m,where m is the unit i.e. metre
Breadth of the floor be b m,where m is the unit i.e. metre
Height of the floor be h m, where m is the unit i.e. metre

According to the question :

• Area of the floor = 67.5 m²

From the properties of rectangle, we know : -

Area of rectangle = length x breadth

Therefore,

= > Length x breadth = 67.5 m²

= > l b = 67.5 m²

• Volume of the floor = 270 m³

From the properties of cuboid, we know

Volume of cuboid = length x breadth x height

Therefore,

= > l x b x h = 270 m³

= > h = 270 m³ / l b

From above, l b = 67.5 m²

= > h = ( 270 m³ ) / ( 67.5 m² )

= > h = 4 m

Hence,
Height of floor of the room is 4 m.

Answer:

4m

Step-by-step explanation:

(i)

Given, Area of floor = 67.5 m².

⇒ (l * b) = 67.5

(ii)

Given, Volume of room = 270 m³

⇒ l * b * h = 270

⇒ 67.5 * h = 270

⇒ h = 270/67.5

⇒ h = 4 m.

Therefore, Height of the room = 4 m.

Hope it helps!
