SOLUTION:-

Given:

•The area of the four walls in the room is 120m².

The length of twice the breadth.

•The height of the room is 4m.

To find:

Area of the floor.

Solution:

We know that, area of four walls;

=) 2(l+b)× h

Here,

⚫l= 2b

⚫h= 4m

⚫Area= 120m²

=) 2(2b+ b)× 4= 120

=) 2(3b)× 4= 120

=) 6b × 4= 120

=) 6b= 120/4

=) 6b= 30

=) b= 30/6

=) b= 5m

So,

•Breadth is 5m.

•Length is 2b = 2×5

=) 10m

Now,

Area of the floor:

=) l ×b

=) 10m × 5m

=) 50m²

Thus,

The area of the floor is 50m².

Hope it helps ☺️
