Given :

  • The area of the rectangle is 49cm² and its breadth is 2.8cm.

To Find :

  • Length of the rectangle.

Solution :

Here

  • Area of the rectangle = 49cm²
  • Breadth of the rectangle = 2.8cm

We've to find the length of the rectangle.

As we know that

  • Area of a rectangle = l × b

Where

  • l = length
  • b = breadth

According to question :

→ Area of rectangle = l × b

→ 49 = l × 2.8

→ l = 49/2.8

→ l = 17.5

Hence,

  • The length of the rectangle = 17.5cm.

Given:-

  • Area of the rectangle is 49 cm².
  • Breadth of the rectangle is 2.8 cm.

To find:-

  • Length of the rectangle.

Solution:-

Formula used:-

\star{\boxed{\sf{\orange{Area\: of\: rectangle = Length \times Breadth}}}}

\large{\tt{\longmapsto{49 = Length \times 2.8}}}

\large{\tt{\longmapsto{Length = \dfrac{49}{2.8}}}}

\large{\tt{\longmapsto{\boxed{\red{Length = 17.5\: cm}}}}}

Hence, the length of the rectangle is 175 cm.
