Dear Student,

● Answer -

x = 12 m

● Explanation -

Consider a rectangle with -

b = 11/3 m

l = x

Given that area of rectangle is 44 m^2.

A = l × b

44 = x × 11/3

x = 44 / (11/3)

x = 44 × 3 / 11

x = 4 × 3

x = 12 m

Hence, length of the rectangle is 12 m.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...

a \:  = l \times b \\ 44 = x \times  \frac{11}{2}  \\ x = 44 \div  \frac{11}{3} \\ 44 \div  \frac{3}{11}   \\ x = 4 \times 3 = 12 \\

∴ The length of the rectangle is 12 m
