Area of rhombus = 28m

Perimeter = 28m

All sides of a rhombus are equal.

∴4a=28

∴a=7m

Area of a rhombus = b×h

28=7×EC

∴EC=

7

28

=4m

∴EC=altitude=4m

Altitude of Rhombus is 4m.

Given :

\text{Area of Rhombus } =  28m^2

\text{Perimeter of Rhombus } = 28m

Formula Applied :

\text{Area of Rhombus } = b \times h

\text{Perimeter of Rhombus } = 4 a

Solution :

As by given ,

perimeter of Rhombus = 28m.

As by formula,

perimeter of Rhombus = 4a

hence,

4a = 28m \implies a = \frac{28}{4}

\boxed{a=7m}

Diagram :

\setlength{\unitlength}{1 cm}\begin{picture}(0,0)\thicklines\qbezier(1,0)(1,0)(4,0) \put(1,-0.3){\bf A}\qbezier(4,0)(4,0)(5.8,2.5)\put(5.8,2.7){\bf C}\qbezier(5.8,2.5)(5.8,2.5)(2.8,2.5)\put(2.8,2.7){\bf D}\qbezier(1,0)(1,0)(2.8,2.5) \put(4,-0.3){\bf B} \qbezier(2.8,2.5)(2.8,2.5)(2.8,0)\put(3,1.2){\bf h} \put(2.5 ,-0.3){7m}\end{picture}

Area of Rhombus  = b\times h

\implies 28 m = b \times h

(bredth=side=a=7 m)

\implies 28 =7 \times h

\implies \frac{28}{7} = h

\boxed{h=4m}

height = altitude = 4  m.
