We know that all sides of Rhombus are equal to each other.

Let each side of the given rhombus is S [Refer to attached figure]

Since, Perimeter given is 40 m

∴ 4S = 40 m    [ Perimeter of Rhombus = 4(side)]

    S = 10 m

Now, Rhombus is also a Parallelogrm

∴ Area of Rhombus can be calculated as (base × corresponding altitude)

But Area Given is 52 m²

So, (Base of the Rhombus × corrsponding altitude) = 52

10 m × corresponding altitude = 52 m².   [ ∵ Base of Rhombus = Side = 10m]

Corresponding Altitude = 5.2 m
