given :-

perimeter of the rhombus = 32m

we know that all the sides of a rhombus is equal.

➡ 4 × side = 32m (since it has 4 equal sides)

➡ side = 32/4

➡ side = 8m

the length of the side of the rhombus is 8m.

now, rhombus is also a parallelogram because it's opposite sides are parallel and equal.

and formula to find the area of a parallelogram is = base × height

let the base be the side of the rhombus.

given it's area = 96m²

➡ base × height = 96m²

➡ 8 × height = 96m²

➡ height = 96/8

➡ height = 12m

hence, the altitude of the rhombus is 12m.
