We know that the area of a right triagle can be calculated as half the product of the lengths of the two sides containing the right angle,
Therefore, 
A = ½ x ( n x m ) [where m and n are the two sides containing the right angle]
129.5 = ½ x 14.8 x m [by substituting the given data]
m = (2 x 129.5) / 14.8
m = 17.5 cm
