AREA of Square field = 5184 m²

(Side)² = 5184 m²

Side = √(5184 m²)

Side = 72 m

PERIMETER of Square = 4×72 m

PERIMETER = 288 m

Also, Given that Length of rectangular field is twice the breadth

=> L = 2B .....(1)

And,
Rectangular field has perimeter equal to square field

Therefore,

PERIMETER of Rectangular field = 288 m

2(L+B) = 288

2(2B+B) = 288 .....[From (1)]

3B = 288/2

B = 144/3

B = 48 m

And

L = 2B = 2×48

L = 96 m

Now,

Area of rectangular field = L × B

= 96 m × 48 m

= 4608 m²

HENCE,

AREA OF RECTANGULAR FIELD IS 4608 m²
