The length of the wire required to fence 4 rounds of the square garden = 400 m

Given :

The area of the square garden is 625 sq.m

To find :

The length of the wire required to fence 4 rounds of the square garden

Solution :

Step 1 of 2 :

Calculate length of the side of the square garden

Let length of the side of the square garden = x metre

∴ Area of the square garden = x² sq.m

x² = 625

⇒ x² = 25²

⇒ x = 25

So length of the side of the square garden = 25 metre

Step 2 of 2 :

Calculate length of the wire required to fence 4 rounds of the square garden

Perimeter of the square garden

= 4 × Length of the side of the square garden

= 4 × 25 metre

= 100 metre

∴ Length of the wire required to fence 1 round of the square garden = 100 metre

Hence length of the wire required to fence 4 rounds of the square garden

= 4 × 100 metre

= 400 metre
