Area of □ = side × side or  side^2

Therefore,

 = 9 {x}^{2}  + 24xy + 16 {y}^{2}  \\  =  {(3x)}^{2}  + 2(3x)(4y) +  {(4y)}^{2}  \\  =  {(3x + 4y)}^{2}

Thus,

 {side}^{2}  =  {(3x + 4y)}^{2}  \\ side =  \sqrt{ {(3x + 4y)}^{2} }  \\ side = 3x + 4y

\boxed{ \textsf{ Hence,\:side\:is\:3x+4y}}
