The area of the trapezium-shaped field is 480 cm ,the distance between two parallel sides is 30cm and one of the parallel sides is 20cm. Find the other parallel sides​

Area of trapezium = 480 cm²

Distance between two parallel side = 30 cm

Also, one of the two parallel sides is given to be 20 cm

We have to find the other side

Let the other side be x

Area of trapezium = (1/2) × sum of parallel side × distance between sides

                    480 = (1/2) × ( 20 + x ) × 30

                    32 = 20 + x

                      x = 32 - 20

                      x = 12

Hence, the other side of the trapezium will be 12 cm
