ANSWER:-

Given:

⚫The area of the trapezium shaped field= 84m².

⚫Height of the field= 7m.

⚫One parallel sides= x

⚫Other parallel sides= 3x/5

According to the question:

We know that area of trapezium is

 = > \frac{1}{2} \times (sum \: of \: parallel \: sides) \times height

Therefore,

Area of trapezium

 = > \frac{1}{2} \times (x + \frac{3x}{5} ) \times 7 = 84 {m}^{2} \\ \\ = > \frac{1}{2} \times ( \frac{5x + 3x}{5} ) \times 7 = 84 \\ \\ = > \frac{1}{2} \times \frac{8x}{5} \times 7 = 84 \\ \\ = > \frac{8x}{10} \times 7 = 84 \\ \\ = > \frac{8x}{10} = \frac{84}{7} \\ \\ = > \frac{8x}{10} = 12 \\ \\ = > 8x = 120 \\ \\ = > x = \frac{120}{8} \\ \\ = > x = 15

Therefore,

Length of the parallel sides:

One side, x = 15m

Other side, 3x/5

=) 3× 15/5

=) 45/5

=) 9m

Hope it helps ☺️
