AB = √(6-2)² + (0-0)² = √16  = 4

BC = √(4-6)² + (6-0)² = √4 + 36  = √40 = 2√10

s = (4 + 2√10 + 2√10)/2  = 2 + 2√10

Area of triangle using Hero formula

= √(2 + 2√10)( 2√10 - 2)(2)(2)

= √4(40 - 4)

=  √4*36

= 2 * 6

= 12  sq units
