As the triangle is formed by the co-ordinate axes and 5x-3y+10=0, therefore the vertices will be (0,0);(0,y);(x, 0)
1) Let x be 0
-3y+10=0
y=10/3
2) let y be 0
5x+10=0
x=-2
Now the vertices are
(0,0);(0,10/3);(-2,0)
Area of a = |(1/2)(x1(y2-y3)+x2(y3-y1)+x3(y1-y2))|
=|(1/2)(0+0+(-2)(-10/3))|
=|(1/2)(20/3)|
=|10/3|
=10/3 sq. units
