the area of traiangle is eqal to the area of the rectangle whose length is 20cm and breadth is 15cm respectively. calculate the height of the triangle if its base measures 30cm

The area of rectangle =the area of triangle
So,
The area of rectangle=l*b
                                   =20cm*15cm
                                   =300cm²
the area of triangle is also 300cm²
∴ the area of triangle=1/2bh
                                300 = 1/2*30*h
                                 h=(300*2)/30
                                 h=20cm
NOTE: h is the height of the triangle
