the area of trapezium 108cm and it's height 7cm if one of the parallel sides is longer than the other by 6cm find the two parallel sides​

Answer:

area of trapezium=180cm

let the length of one side = x

let the length of other side =x+6

height =7cm

area of trapezium = 1/2×( x+x+6)7

108×2/7= x+ x+6

54×7=x+x+6

378-6= 2x

372=2x

372/2=x

186=x

Hence,length of one side = 186cm

length of second side =186+6=192cm
