let 1 side = x m

then other side = x + 16 m

height = 15 m

area = 300 m^2

1/2 (base 1 + base 2) × h = 300

1/2 (x + x + 16) × 15 =300

1/2 ( 2x + 16 ) = 300/15

1/2 (2x + 16) = 20

2x + 16 = 20 × 2

2x + 16 = 40

2x = 40 - 16

2x = 24

x = 24 / 2

x = 12

first side = x = 12 m

second side = x + 16 = 12 + 16 = 28 m
