The area of trapezium is 105cm² and its height is 7cm . If one of the parallel sides is longer than the other by 6cm, find the two parallel sides

Answer:

Let the parallel sides be x and 6+x

area = 1/2×h×(a+b)

105=1/2×7×(6+x+x)

30=6+2x

24/2=x

12=x

Two parallel sides are 12 cm, 18 cm
