Area of trapezium = 1/2 ×sum of parallel sides × perpendicular distance between them or height

1586sq.cm = 1/2 × (38cm+84cm) × perpendicular distance between them or height

1586sq.cm = 1/2 × 122cm × height

1586sq.cm × 2 = 122cm × height

3172 sq.cm = 122cm × height

3172sq.cm ÷ 122cm = height

26 cm = height or perpendicular distance between them
