Answer : 22 cm and 28 cm

Explanation :-

Area of trapezium :-

Area of trapezium :- = 1/2 (sum of parallel sides) x height

Given :

Area of trapezium = 175 sq.cm

Height = 7 cm.

one of its parallel sides is longer than the other side by 6 cm

According to the given question -

175 = 1/2(x + x+6)7

=> 350 = (2x+6)7

=> 350/7 = 2x+6

=> 50 = 2x+6

=> 2x = 50-6

=> x = 44/2

=> x = 22

hence, x = 22 cm and x+5 = 22+6 = 28 cm.
