Answer:

let it 1st parallel side be x then 2nd will be , x+6.

area of trapezium = 1/2 × sum of parallel sides × height

180 cm = 1/2 (x+x+6) 9

360 = (2x +6) 9

360 = (18x + 54)

306 = 18x

x= 17

so, x= 17 & x+6 = 23.

The area of trapezium = 180 sq. cm

The height of trapezium= 9 cm

The addition of two parallel sides=

2x(180÷9)cm=40 cm

Imagine,

one side is=x cm

the other side=(x+6)cm

So,x+x+6=40

2x=34

x=17

one side=17 cm

other side=(17+6)=23 cm
