area of trapezium = 1/2 ( sum of parallel side ) × h

1 /2 × ( sum of parallel side ) × 12 = 198

sum of parallel side = 198 / 12 × 2

sum of parallel side = 198 / 24

sum of parallel side = 8.25

Answer:

33cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Area = 198 sq.cm

Height = 12cm

Parallel sides = ?

Area = 1/2× h× (a+b)

198sq.cm = 1/2 ×  12×  (a+b)

198 ×  2 = 12×  (a+b)

396 = 12× (a+b)

396÷12 = a+b

33cm² = Sum of parallel sides
