Hii
Nice question

Solution :-

Let the one parallel side be x m.
So the other parallel side will be (x - 4) m.

Given :-
Area of trapezium = 248 m²
Height of the trapezium = 8 m

By using the formula,

Area of the trapezium = 1/2 × height × sum of parallel sides

Putting values, we get

248 m² = 1/2 × 8 m × (x + x - 4)
248 = 4 × (2x - 4)
2x - 4 = 62
2x = 62 + 4
x = 66/2
x = 33 m

One parallel side = 33 m

Other parallel side = x - 4 = 33 - 4 = 29 m

Hope this helps you.
