let one side be x and other side be x-4m
area of trapezium=1÷2×height×sum of parallel sides.
put the values here and find

Let smsller side be x
so bigger side be x + 4
Area of trapezium = 1/2 (sum of parallel sides) ×height
248 = 1/2 × x + x+4 × 8
248 = 2x + 4 × 4
62 = 2x + 4
58 = 2x
so x = 29
x+4 = 33
so bigger side be x + 4
Area of trapezium = 1/2 (sum of parallel sides) ×height
248 = 1/2 × x + x+4 × 8
248 = 2x + 4 × 4
62 = 2x + 4
58 = 2x
so x = 29
x+4 = 33
