The area of trapezium is 26.5 and perpendicular distance between them it parallel sides is 15cm .What is sum of parallel side is

?

\huge{\mathbb{SOLUTION}}

Area of trapezium= 26.5

Height=15 cm

to find the sum of parallel sides

Let the sum of parallel sides be x

Now according to question:-

\large\boxed{\sf{\purple{Area \:of\: trapezium=\frac{1}{2}×Height×Sum \:of \:parallel\:sides}}}

\sf \leadsto 26.5=\frac{1}{2}×15×x\\ \sf\leadsto 26.5=7.5×x\\ \sf\leadsto x=\frac{26.5}{7.5}\\ \sf\leadsto x= 3.53

Sum of parallel sides =3.53
