Let 1 side of the trapezium = x
then 2nd side = x-16
height = 15
Area = 300
Area of the Trapezium = 1/2(sum of parallel sides)height
300 = 1/2(x + x - 16)15
300 * 2 = (x + x - 16)15
300*2/15 = 2x - 16
20*2 = 2x - 16
40 + 16 = 2x
56 = 2x
28 = x
Therefore the sides are 28 and 12
then 2nd side = x-16
height = 15
Area = 300
Area of the Trapezium = 1/2(sum of parallel sides)height
300 = 1/2(x + x - 16)15
300 * 2 = (x + x - 16)15
300*2/15 = 2x - 16
20*2 = 2x - 16
40 + 16 = 2x
56 = 2x
28 = x
Therefore the sides are 28 and 12
