Solution :

As given,

The area of Trapezium is 34 cm²

So, We know that :

$\bigstar\;\boxed{\bf Area\;of\;Trapezium= \dfrac{1}{2}\times (l_1 +l _2)\times h}}}$

Putting values,

⇒ 34 =  ½ × (10 + x) × 4

⇒ 34 =  ½ ×(40 + 4x)

⇒ 34 = 20 + 2x

⇒ x = 7

∴ The length of the other parallel  side is x = 7 cm.
