The area of trapezium is 352 cm cube and the distance between its parallel sides is 16 cm. If one of the parallel sides is of length 25 cm , find the length of the other.

Area of trapezium=1/2× (sum of parallel sides) × height
352 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times (25 + x) \times 16 \\  \frac{352}{16}  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times (25 + x) \\  \frac{22}{2}  = 25 + x \\ 11 = 25 + x \\ x = 11 - 25 \\ x =  - 14
