★ Let parallel sides of the trapezium be 2x and 3x respectively.

Given ,

• Area of the trapezium = 360 cm²

• Distance between parallel sides = 12 cm.

We know that ,

☞ Area of trapezium = 1/2 × (sum of parallel sides) × (distance between parallel sides)

*Substituting the values ,

360 = 1/2 × (2x + 3x) × 12

→ 360 × 2 = 5x × 12

→ 720 = 60x

→ x = 720/60

x = 12

Hence ,

★ Length of parallel sides ~

→ 2x = 2×12 = 24 cm.

and → 3x = 3 × 12 = 36cm.
