area of trapezium=384cm^2
ratio between the parallel sides=2:6
let them be 2x and 6x.
perpendicular between them(h)=12cm
we know that,
area of trapezium
=1/2×(sum of parallell sides)×height
then,
=>1/2×(2x+6x)×12=384
=>1/2× 8x ×12=384
=>x=384×2/8×12
=>x=768/96
=>x=8
thus the trapezium's parallel sdes are 16cm and 48cm.

Answer:

8

Step-by-step explanation:

area of trapezium=384cm^2

ratio between the parallel sides=2:6

let them be 2x and 6x.

perpendicular between them(h)=12cm

we know that,

area of trapezium

=1/2×(sum of parallell sides)×height

then,

=>1/2×(2x+6x)×12=384

=>1/2× 8x ×12=384

=>x=384×2/8×12

=>x=768/96

=>x=8

thus the trapezium's parallel sdes are 16cm and 48cm.
