the area of trapezium is 385cm2 its parrallel sides are in the ratio 3:4 and the perpendicular distance between them is 11cm what is it's longer side

Let the parallel sides be 3x and4x.
Height of the trapezium =11cm
Therefore, Area of trapezium =1/2*3x+4x*11
385=1/2*7x*11
385*2=7x*11
x=385*2/7*11
x=10cm
Longer side=4x=4*10=10cm
Hence, the longer side is10 cm
