the distance between parallel sides of trapezium are height of trapezium.

&lt;font color = </em><em>green</em><em>&gt;

Let, the height be x

area of trapezium = {476cm}^{2}

1/2 × height × sum of parllel side = {476cm}^{2}

1/2 × x × 10cm + 46cm = {476cm}^{2}

1/2 × x × 56cm = {476cm}^{2}

1/2 × 56cmx = {476cm}^{2}

28cmx = {476cm}^{2}

x = \frac{{476cm}^{2}}{ 28cm}

x = \frac{{\cancel{476cm}}^{2}}{ \cancel{28cm}}

x = 17cm

height of trapezium is 17cm. it means that distance between parallel side is 17cm
