\bf{\huge{\underline{\boxed{\rm{\red{Answer:}}}}}}

Given:-

\bf\large\rm{Area\:of\:a\:trapezium \: is\:480cm^2}

\bf\large\rm{ Height \: =\: 15cm}

\bf\large\rm{One\:of\:the\:parallel\:side \:= \:20cm} = Side 1

To find :-

the length of the other side = side 2

Solution :-

\bf{\large{\underline{\boxed{\rm{\blue{Area\:of\:trapezium = 1/2\: × \: Sum \:parallel\:sides\:×\: Heigt}}}}}}

Plug the values in the above formula,

480 = \bf\large\frac{1}{2} × (Side 1 + Side 2) × 15

480 = \bf\large\frac{1}{2} ×( 20 + Side 2) × 15

\bf\large\frac{480×2}{15} = 20 + Side 2

\bf\large\frac{960}{15} = 20 + Side 2

64 = 20 + Side 2

64 - 20 = Side 2

44 = Side 2

° the length of the other parallel side of the trapezium = 44cm

\bf{\huge{\underline{\boxed{\rm{\pink{Verification:}}}}}}

\bf{\large{\underline{\boxed{\rm{\blue{Area\:of\:trapezium = 1/2\: × \: Sum \:parallel\:sides\:×\: Heigt}}}}}}

Plug the values,

480 = \bf\large\frac{1}{2} × 20 + 44 × 15

480 = \bf\large\frac{1}{2} × 64 × 15

480 = 32 × 15

480 = 480

LHS = RHS

Hence we conclude our answer to be right.
