Area = 540 cm

Altitude = 18cm

Let one parallel side be x cm and other be (x + 12)cm

According to qu.

1/2 × (sum of parallel sides) × h = 540

1/2 × (x + x + 12) × 18 = 540

2x + 12 × 9 = 540

2x + 12 = 540/9

2x + 12 = 60

2x = 60-12

2x = 48

x = 24 cm

.°. One side = 24cm

Other side = 36cm

Answer:

Area = 540 cm

Altitude = 18cm

Let one parallel side be x cm and other be (x + 12)cm

According to Questions:

1/2 × (sum of parallel sides) × h = 540

1/2 × (sum of parallel sides) × h = 5401/2 × (x + x + 12) × 18 = 540

=> 2x + 12 × 9 = 540

=> 2x + 12 = 540/9

=> 2x + 12 = 60

=> 2x = 60-12

=> 2x = 48

=> x = 24 cm

One side = 24cm

Other side = 36cm
