\huge\sf\green {Given :}

▪ Area of Trapezium = 540  {m}^2

▪ Two parallel sides = 40 m & 32 m

\huge\sf\green {To\:Find} :

➡ Distance between them.

Distance = height of the Trapezium.

Let height be ' H ' metre.

\huge\sf\green {Solution :}

\sf {Area \:of \:Trapezium} =\dfrac{1}{2}( sum of parallel sides ) × height

\implies {540} =\dfrac {1}{2} ( 40 + 32 ) × H

\implies {540} = \dfrac {1}{2} ( 72 ) × H

\implies {540} = 36 × H

\implies H = \dfrac {540}{36}

\implies H = 15 m

\therefore The distance between the given two parallel sides is 15 m
