the area of trapezium is 850 square CM one of the parallel side is 64 cm and the perpendicular distance between the parallel side is 17 cm find the length of other parallel side

area of trapezium =850
one parallel side=64
area of trapezium =1/2×(a+b)×h
850 = 1/2×(64+x)×17
850 ×2 = (64+x)×17
1700 = 1088+17x
1700-1088= 17x
612= 17x
x = 612/17
x = 36Answer
