The area of trapizeum is 475cm2 and it's hight it's 19cm find the length of its two paraller sides of one side is 40cm greater than the other​

let the one if the parallel side be x

Another parallel side = x + 40

Area Of Trapezium = 1/2 × ( sum of parallel side ) × height

475 cm^2 = 1/2 × ( x + x + 40 ) × 19

475 × 2 / 19 = 2x + 40

25 × 2 = 2x + 40

50 = 2x + 40

50 - 40 = 2x

10 = 2x

2x = 10

x = 10/2

x = 5

One Parallel side = 5

Second parallel side = x + 40

= 5 + 40

= 45
