area of trapezium = 1/2 (sum of parallel sides) × height

height =distance between the parallel lines
let other parallel side be p

area of trapezium = 1/2( 7 + p) × 4

36 = (7 + p) × 2

18 = 7 + p

p = 18 - 7 = 11

Answer. Other parallel side is 11cm
