the area of triangle is equal to the area of the square whose each side measures 10m find the length of the side of a triangle corresponding to the altitude measuring 5m

Side of square = 10 m

Height of triangle = 5 m

Area of triangle = Area of square


=> Base *Height /2 = Side ^2

=> Base * 5 / 2 = 10 *10

=> Base = 100*2 / 5

=> Base = 20 * 2

=> Base of triangle = 40 m
