area of a triangle= 1/2(b)(h)

1/2(b)(8)=50

4b=50

b=50/4

b=25/2

(or)

b=12.5cm

Answer:

The base of length of a triangle(b) is 12.5 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have,

The area of a triangle = 50  and  the altitude of a triangle(h) = 8 cm

To find, the base of length of a triangle(b) = ?

We know that,

The area of a triangle =  × b × h

⇒  × b × 8 = 50

⇒ b × 4 = 50

⇒

⇒ b = 12.5 cm

∴ The base of length of a triangle(b) = 12.5 cm

Hence, the base of length of a triangle(b) is 12.5 cm.
