area of 1st square field = 625m^2
side × side= 625m^2
s^2= 625m^2
side = underroot 625
side = 25m

area of square field = 256m^2
s^2= 256m^2
side= underroot 256
side = 16m

according to question

ratio of sides are

25m/16m
25/16

answer 25:16

hey dear

here is your answer

Solution

===================================

given

Area of two square fields are respectively 256 and 625 sq m

to find the ratio of two sides = ?

as we know that area of square = ( a ) ^2

so,

a s the side length of square

( a) ^2. = 256

a. = √ 256

a = 16 m

then as the same way

625 take as larger square

so ,

( a) ^2. = 625

a is the length of square

( a )^2 = 625

a. = √625

a = 25 m

====================================

hence the ratio of their square is 16 / 25

in ratio form = 16 :25

================================

hope it helps

thank you
