★ Given:

• The area of two square fields are respectively 529 and 2116 square

★ To find:

• The ratio of their sides

Solution:

☯︎ 1st square field

Let x be the side of field

 \sf\rightsquigarrow \:  \:{{x}^{2} = 529}

 \sf\rightsquigarrow \:  \:{x =  \sqrt{529} }

 \sf\rightsquigarrow \:  \:{x = 23}

☯︎ 2nd square field

Again,

Let x be the side of field

 \sf\rightsquigarrow \:  \:{ {x}^{2} = 2116 }

 \sf\rightsquigarrow \:  \:{x =  \sqrt{2116} }

 \sf\rightsquigarrow \:  \:{x = 46}

Now, we are knowing the side of both square fields

So, their ratio are,

 \sf\Longrightarrow \:  \:{\cancel\frac{^123}{46_2} =  \frac{1}{2} } \\

 \sf\therefore \:{The \: ratio \: of \:  both \: \square \: fields \: are \: 1:2}
