let side of a square be x

let length of a rectangle be l and breadth of a rectangle be b

the length of rectangle is 90 cm breadth is two third of side of a square
so, length of rectangle, l = 90 cm
breadth of rectangle = (2/3) of side of square
b = 2x/3

The area of rectangle is 4 times the area of a square
so, area of rectangle = 4 × area of square
lb = 4x²
90 × (2x/3) = 4x²
30x = 2x²
2x = 30
x = 30/2
x = 15

so, side of the square is 15 cm
