The dismal figures of India’s forest land declination is an alarming situation.

As per the report of the India State of Forest that was released by the FSI in 2011, the total forest cover in the country is now 6,92,027 sq km which is just 21% of the total geographical land of the nation.

This declining number is alarming and is majorly because of the growing industrialization and the need to build more house.

The big industries are cutting down the forest to ensure that they meet their industrial demand.
